Vintage Mercedes as Part of the Restaurant Entrance - Coolies Club Phuket

A vintage Mercedes parked in front of Coolies Club becomes part of the restaurant’s exterior design rather than just decoration. Set against the white Sino-Portuguese façade with turquoise shutters and deep red details, the car gives the entrance an instantly recognizable look. Coolies Club was designed by Bill Bensley, with the concept drawing on Phuket’s history and the character of Old Town. A great example of how one unexpected element outside a venue can become part of its identity, and probably one of the most photographed parts of the restaurant.
